Xboxfilter my Xbox news

I just got an Xbox 360 and am looking for a blog to subscribe to that does not consist of news releases/previews.
Searching Google, I've found a lot of Xbox 360 sites that have (video) previews/release dates of upcoming games or "this is the new game on XBLA this week" ad nauseam. Being a recreational gamer, I am interested in some news about influential or must-play game releases, but I don't want to be inundated with that information. Instead, I would like to read about interesting or unique games that I wouldn't otherwise be aware of (e.g., Viva Pinata) or other useful Xbox related news (like the recent hard drive add-on for the Arcade system). Basically, something like Hello, Nintendo but for the Xbox 360.
Are there any blogs that satisfy this criteria?

I read Game|Life, Level Up or MTV Multiplayer. They're not exclusively for 360, but you'll find much more insightful commentary and content than any Joystiq-like site.

It's not xBox specific, but Gamers With Jobs have fantastic articles (with quite a few on xBox games), and an equally awesome podcast. The forums are ace too.

1UP and Giant Bomb are my favourite gaming news/reviews sites. Although they will definitely cover all the big stuff very heavily, the editors of both sites are generally well read, well informed and are extremely well gamed (I just made up that term right now). The various 1UP podcasts in particular will tend to cover a lot of odd stuff other sites don't touch, and 1UP FM has a weekly backlog feature that I am quite fond of following when I can. Also, the 1UP Show? It's pretty great. Not to mention the Bombcast. These are my go to sites when I want something credible and substantial. For just quick, but good, reporting there's also Kotaku.
I know 1UP and Giant Bomb aren't blogs exactly, or even 360 specific, but for well rounded reporting and commentary I think they're worth checking out.
