No Broadband

I have an Everex Stepnote, it came with linux os. I did not like the linux so i put windows xp on it. now i have no wlan connection or audio. i know it's a shitty computer but i need these basic functions. does anyone have any ideas on how to reaquire my wireless broadband? thanks

Does this have an internal wireless card or are you using an external USB or other type of adapter? A Google search for "Everex Stepnote Windows XP Wireless Driver" turned up quite a few hits, just be careful that you're downloading something legit. Otherwise check the model number of your external wireless device and google that plus the word 'driver'.
