Karaoke in Toronto?

What a good karaoke place in Toronto that has private rooms and good food? This is for this Friday evening. How much does it cost, and do I need to book ahead of time?

Preferably a place with free parking.

Thanks!

XO Karaoke, above Clinton's at Bloor and Clinton in Koreatown. Private rooms, lots of fun. I've never booked, but have usually arrived at around 1am.

There's echo Karaoke box at Dundas and Spadina. Book ahead of time, the rates are reasonable. Not much parking around, but it is transit nirvana there.

Pacific Mall has what looks like an authentic karaoke box on the 2nd floor. Of course it is nowhere near downtown (but the parking is free).

I don't think XO's food selection is particularly good, though there's no one stopping you from getting some Korean take-out and bringing it into the room.

I agree that the food isn't good, but you might want to ask about whether you can bring outside stuff in. If they say no, don't assume you can smuggle it in. Last time I was there, they peeked in our bags for booze.

Other than that, though, XO was pretty good, as long as you're OK with a certain grodiness factor. The selection isn't bad at all.
