Can anyone identify the symbol in this picture please?

Could it be "XP", the Greek letters? There's a tradition of writing this on the side of a certain Easter cake in Russia, using the Cyrillic letters (which are close to Greek). It stands for "Christ is risen" (in Greek, but I don't know the actual Greek words).
