How to have fun in Boise, ID this week!

My partner and I are heading out to Boise late tomorrow night (10/8) and we'll be staying though Friday (10/11) night. I'd love to hear people's opinions on the best hits - restaurants, hikes, downtown walks, art galleries, museums, coffee shops (ideally with WiFi), bike shops, anything else. Also, if you know of any great road bike rides, I'll gladly accept input on that as well, since I'll be traveling with my bike. We'll be staying downtown at the Modern Hotel.

Where to hang out in Boise for a short stay?

I'm in Boise for a month on a work trip, staying in downtown. I'm not really interested in the "places of interest" stops. I also would love an emergency psychiatrist contact. Specifics inside. [more inside]

Things To Do In Boise After Skywolf Has Devoured Daystar

I'm going to be traveling to various parts of the U.S. in late August / early September, and will be staying in Boise starting around August 20 in order to see the eclipse as part of a pre-arranged group outing. But I'll be there for at least a few days, anywhere from three to five. So I'd like to ask what there is to do there, and a few other questions if anyone would like to help me out. [more inside]

Any information on Snake River Jet Boat Tours?

I'm planning a very special getaway and would like to go up the Snake River on one of the jet boat tours that are available out of Lewiston, ID. However, there are multiple vendors out there and I'm at a loss as to which tour would be the best. I'm looking for your experiences and suggestions. Hotels, restaurants, and golf course recommendations would also be appreciated.

Where to stay in Moscow....Idaho, that is

My family and I will be traveling with some friends to Moscow, ID in July. Our friends will be staying with their family, and we will need a place to stay for a few nights. We hoped to camp, but it doesn't look like much of a camping place, am I right? Where should we stay? B&B? Hotel? Or are there campsites close by? We are 2 adults, 2 kids (ages 2 and 5).

Idaho tourism filter: Interesting things to do in Sun Valley/Ketchum? We will be there for a day before we start a bike trip. Relatedly, are there any things we can do that will assist us in getting used to a higher (more airless) altitude?

Travelling in Boise

Okay, I'm leaving for Boise, Idaho (driving) tomorrow and I'd really like to know from people who live there or have been there if it really is as hazardous to black men who travel there as the stories all seem to go. Should I be scared? I'm already planning not to go anywhere without an escort. [more inside]
