Wordpress Addon, for adding a property

Wordpress addons: I want to build a basic cms site where I can add properties. I know wordpress well, but I know it is restricted to adding pages or news. Is there any addons where I can make it so I can add my properties into categories. Name, image and details.
Is this something that you could use WP's custom fields for? "Pages" and "news" are simply names for content roles. How they present to the world is up to you.

You can assign tags and categories straight out of the box, and then use a search for said category or tag as a link.
If that any help?

Your question isn't exactly clear. But WP does allow you to add attribute/value pairs in your posts. You don't need a plugin for this.
yes.
if you're interested in using WP as a CMS where the user can actually edit content inline, I have coded this for a site I work on. I use "pages" as a block of content inserted into any page, and an "edit" link appears on the page itself if you're logged into WP. Mail me if you want more info...
if that's not what you're looking for, apologies for plugging my own project.

ExpressionEngine tends to get strong marks from folks who want to do this kind of thing and have a Dreamweaver-y design background. I'm a strong Drupal partisan, so I always lean towards it. If you need to create the structured content and present it in lots of different ways, Drupal is really strong. its 'Content Construction Kit' plugin, combined with the 'Views' plugins, lets you do some pretty crazy stuff. Let people upload image posts, display those as a gallery but display MP3 posts as a flash playlist, etc.
Admittedly, though, that kind of flexibility comes at the cost of more setup and tweaking, which is where EE really shines.

How these attribute/value pairs get treated is mostly up to your theme; if you're comfortable tweaking an existing theme, you can display this information however you want.
You also might want to take a look at structured blogging.
