Photo Stamps experiences?

Has anyone used Photo Stamps yet? [MI]

I'd like to buy some as a gag gift for Mr. Arkham, but I'm wondering about the quality. Also, out of curiosity: how the heck do they keep people from counterfiting them?

They're counterfeit-proof because each stamp has a unique 2D barcode on them. Once they've been scanned by the USPS, you can't use that barcode as postage again.

I sent them as a gift and the recipient was quite pleased. I haven't seen them, though.

With some time, ingenuity, and probably a lot of trial and error you could do this yourself with the Postal Service's Print Your Own.
