TelecommuterFilter: Please help me find the perfect landline phone for talking to the mothership!

I work from home for a big tech company. I'm looking for the ideal telephone to use for dialing into meetings.

My criteria:
It needs to have a wired handset, for optimal sound quality.
It should have a speakerphone with adjustable volume and a mute button.
It should have a port for a headset, so I can pace around the room.
I don't need multi-line support, or an answering machine, or CallerID.

I got this one and it has met my needs. The mute button works well, as does volume. It still works if power is out. It doesn't require batteries, but this means re-entering the time when you unplug your phone/power goes out. It has three programmed number buttons just above the keypad, which is great if you call into a conferencing line with the same number all the time. The speakerphone/headset button is the orange one on the lower left. The only quirk of the phone is if you hit this button again when you're talking you hang up the line.

It does have an answering machine/caller ID, so you may be to go with the no-frills version. Can't vouch for that one personally, though.

See this previous thread. I'll reiterate my rec for the Polycom SE-22x phones, even though you don't need the multi-line support (it meets all your other requirements, and the speakerphone in particular is stellar).
