Why am I getting an error message when I go to Google?

When I try to go to Google, I get an error message. (more inside)

I have Google set to my home page, and when my browser pops up, I get this error:

The requested URL /cgi-bin/webcm?getpage=../html/hurl_status_real.html was not found on this server.

It's clearly a Google page, since the blue, red, yellow, and green logo comes up in the corner, so I'm reaching the site. I can't get to gmail, but strangely, I can get to google.ca

What gives?

Response by poster: And now it works in Firefox too. Weird.

If anyone has any idea what happened, let me know.

Best answer: That looks like a DSL router status page request. Similar one in script here.
