Has Yelle ever been in a commercial?

Has this songever been in an apple commercial?

I am absolutely convinced that this song (Je veux te voir by Yelle) was once in an apple commercial, but I find no evidence of it...

Remember kids, the absence of evidence is not the evidence of absence.

Between this list and this one, that covers pretty much all the ad campaigns of the modern Apple era, and that song doesn't seem to be on either one.

I can't say definitively, but it's NOT the song from the 1st iPod ad; "Take California" by the Propellerheads. I only know this because I owned it, and after buying my first iPod, unboxing, loading it up, and hitting shuffle, that was the first song that played. I was creeped out.

You could ask their ad agency. Good luck getting any answers out them, though.

Are you perhaps mixing it up with this song?

Maybe you're thinking of this ad? The song in that one is The Prototypes' Who's Gonna Sing?

Response by poster: Maybe it wasn't an apple commercial, but I was pretty sure it was...

It might not have been an iPod commercial though.

Perhaps you had seen it on Entourage?

According to Adtunes, one of Yelle's songs was featured in heavy rotation on MTV's artist of the week a couple of months ago (but not Je Veux Te Voir, which is an awesome song). Yelle came up in my question last week about fun pop confections in other languages, and she has been non-stop on my iPod since then.

New Young Pony Club had an edited song in a tech company ad and it sounds somewhat similiar.

The first line says "Cuizinier with your little penis surrounded by red hairs..." The whole song is a diss of a french rapper. It's about how he has a small dick and he's bad in bed...
So i would be very surprised to hear it during an apple commercial. Not really fitting with their current corporate image.

A Admiral Haddock said, Yelle was a featured artist on MTV not long ago, and they played one of her songs (not this one) during commercial breaks, with a little mini-music video (~30 seconds) of Yelle dancing in some kind of cute dress. The style of that video was very similar to an iPod ad... the same "one person dancing energetically on a monochromatic background" look.

Bah. I meant AS Admiral Haddock said.

I reject your use of the indefinite article. There is only THE Admiral Haddock. The clip on MTV, btw, features the breakdown from the end of Tristesse/Joie, which is a great cut from her album.

Response by poster: hmm...

I have not seen entourage before (other than the microsoft product), though I may be remembering this song from a Ministry of Sound mix? If the lyrics weren't so dirty, the song would totally fit into an apple commercial.
