Spell check in MSN Messenger?

Is there a spell check program that runs in MSN Messenger that isn't spyware?

There's a script for MSN Plus! that does this using aspell.

Just be sure to not install the sponsor program that comes with MSN Plus! (It asks you quite clearly during the installation process).

Best answer: There are a bunch of spell check plug-ins for the IM app Pidgin, quick Google searches should find what you need.

If your hesitant to switch from the default MSN client, give it a go, it's very polished with all sorts of interesting features and a huge plug-in community.

If you are on a mac, it is built-in - if Messenger is a Cocoa-app, of course. Else use Adium.

Response by poster: I'm on a PC. pidgin is free, open source and GNU. Sounds like the best one!

Thanks!
