Yet Another Song Filter

It was a ribald song done by Ann Wilson, I believe to the tune of Liliburlero. I first heard it in the 90s on some sort of compilation CD (not Heart). The song seemed out of place on the CD. The song was set in an older (Merry Olde England, say) time and the singer described attempts/assaults on her virtue, mostly unsuccessful. Ring a bell with anyone?

Oh, if that's the song, I love that song (I worked on a play that used a lot of period music, and this number was always a big hit with the audience).

Best answer: And it's on Windham Hill's 'The Renaissance Album'.

Response by poster: Thanks, y'all. DR, I actually had that CD and gave it away. With Windham Hill belly up, I'll have to do some digging around to find another copy.

Orinda, thanks for the link to the lyrics of the original. The only thing I could remember was that there was a lieutenant in there somewhere.
