What are the good public health blogs?

I'm working on a project for my employer, a school of public health. I'd like to create a list of blogs that focus on any/all aspects of public health (and yes, I know there are many). I know about Effect Measure, but beyond that nothing.

So, what's good?

Aetiology, which is listed on Effect Measure's blogroll. I'd like to know the answer to your question myself.

This isn't a blog, but HealthMap looks good.
Great title for your post!

Effect Measure is great. I also like:
Epidemix: health and technology
The Pump Handle: mainly occupational and environmental health
Aetiology: epi, disease
RH Reality Check: reproductive health news
The Well-Timed Period: birth control and reproductive health

Great question, I'm looking forward to the other answers!

Although this would be more anecdotal, NewFNP is an amusing blog from the perspective of a nurse practitioner working in public health.

As I'm in HIV research, I use The Body and IRMA. As an unfortunate regulatory nerd, I also follow Greater than minimal risk.

Looking forward to what others come up with as well.

Prevention Justice Alliance
Politics and Policy of HIV/AIDS
Kevin MD (medical not public health)

I have some more in a different folder - I'll try to dig them up for you.

ProMed sends daily updates regarding infectious disease outbreaks occurring across the globe. You can also get promed digest, which is a compilation of all of a day's posts. Can't recommend it enough.
