Fat bendy straws

Do any fast food places have wide bendy straws? Where can I find them outside a hospital ASAP?
I really like wide straws, but I've found it's dependent on the place. One of the McDonalds in my area has huge diameter straws, and so does one Carl's Jr (Hardees). You could almost put a thumbtack in them and use it as a little dart gun. The rest seem to use normal ones. Also, look at convenience stores that sell Slurpees/Icees, they are generally wider.

Doesn't McDonald's have big bendy straws? They have big straws in general.
Also, here's a Wal-Mart.
(Sorry, side channel info. I know where AV is at and why.)

Around these parts, Jack in the Box has the biggest straws I think.

Try a bubble tea place. They generally have big straws for the tapioca balls. Not sure if they would be bendy though.

A somewhat expensive way to get some is to buy a couple of those sports-type sipper cups. I don't know exactly what they're called, but here's a photo. You can probably find these at Wal-Mart or similar stores.

oh and look for local bubble tea places, because their straws, while not bendy, are HUGE (and probably reusable).

What about some flexible food-grade PVC tubing? That comes in several diameters and I don't know where you'd get it at a brick and mortar store but it seems to be available online fairly easily.
The main problem I can see with that is that they would want to sell it to you in giant spools, but perhaps someone would have a heart and send you a sample length?

Friendly's gives out fat bendy straws with the drinks on their kids menu. They even change color when cold liquid passes through them, if you're into that sort of thing (my kids certainly are).

I think a soda fountain or other place that sells shakes and egg creams and other thick drinks is the answer. Fast food-wise, maybe Dairy Queen or Sonic?

Seconding bubble-tea places. Check an Asian market to buy a whole box.
