Are there any good (*cough*free*cough*) sites streaming live gavel-to-gavel coverage of the Democratic National Convention?

CSPAN should rock the coverage.

It seems NPR will provide audio coverage.

Response by poster: hmm, the combination seems to work. CSPAN (today at least) is showing it 3-11. NPR has it all week from 10-1 and 7-11. Anyone wanna go for 1-3? :-)

And the DNC itself says it plans to.

I think each day is starting around 4, that's when the call to order is today.

Air America Radio has some coverage, they are broadcasting from the convention. If you want some of a lighter-side of this, its worth tuning in. Net broadcast is available on their home page.

And if you're feeling old-school, the Deuce is showing old convention speeches from 8-11pm every night this week. Sorry, but I just love C-SPAN.

The BBC will be doing the big speeches

I'm here at the DNC right now and they URL they sent us for gavel to gavel is this:

http://assets.avacast.com/webcast.php.

The PR for the site says "we'll be webcasting gavel-to-gavel coverage of the convention, including exclusive off-the-podium interviews with convention speakers, elected officials, and party leaders. The webcast includes a live video stream, chat rooms, polls and quizzes, and web page sharing. It also gives viewers a way to instantly submit questions to whomever is being interviewed." I'm not sure what "web page sharing" is supposed to be, and I can't currently get the page to load with bad Fleet Center WiFi but try it out.

Doesn't seem to work out here in the non-convention world either.
