Is there a New Tayyab's (Whitechapel, London) equivalent in NYC?

I can't get enough Tayyab's while visiting London. Is there a restaurant in NYC that can match their grilled meats and curries?

No. Not to seem unhelpful, but the answer is no.

Another Tayyab's fan here (Londoner, lived for 2 years in NYC, ate a lot of food there). I agree with JPD. London exceeds New York in almost no cuisine; Pakistani is one of the few exceptions, and Tayyab's is the best of the best in London...
