Football without the smelly dudes.

When I was very young, my family had a TI 99/4A home computer. One of the games we had on it was this version of football. I need to find something like it.
The following features are what I really want:
- You don't control players directly. The most granular control is the play your team will run and maybe the players on it.
- I don't care about real NFL stats or teams.
- Anything emulatable by a recent MacBook is fine. I am capable of finding emulators beyond the SNES, NES, and C64 ones I have now.

Response by poster: Yeah, I don't think it's likely that I'll find any TI-99 roms, so that's why I asked for any other system as well.

Best answer: The Classic99 emulator has the Football cartridge built right in. It's fully licensed and legal, even, with a blessing from TI.
Have fun!

Oh, I'm not sure any TI emulators run on the Macbook, but this will probably work OK through VMWare Fusion or Parallels.
If you can find a native emulator, you can probably extract the ROM from this distribution somehow. It's definitely in there!

Best answer: I recommend Field General. Should work fine in DOSBox. My brother and I would play this simulator for hours. One if the things we liked the best about it was the stats that it would keep.
