Let's presume you just had to acquire the third season of, oh, Six Feet Under, as quickly as possible. How would you do it?

Ignore the potentially-illegal nature of these? Use Buy It Now to avoid waiting 21 hours? $38.00 shipped.

Fast connection? Download a BitTorrent client, make sure it's setup right so you get the fastest speed, and use this torrent.

Matt has shown a lack of appreciation for asking this kind of thing right out in the open.

Well, correction: there's nothing in the question itself which says "P2P filesharing," but the answers above do the trick. It's one thing to discuss P2P programs and technologies, all of which do have legit purposes. It's another to discuss using them to dl copyrighted material, even providing direct links to it all.

US-centric legal answer: Make sure the host of your 4th of July BBQ has HBO and then commandeer the TV from 8:00 to 11:00pm Eastern. They'll be rerunning the all three episodes so far from season 3.
