Doctor-friend wants to join a company that invents/designs medical devices in or around NYC. Does anyone know of any such boutique companies in the area that hire doctors?

There's one little one over in New Jersey that has a good line of devices. It's called "Johnson & Johnson", you might have heard of it. I believe they are headquartered in New Brunswick, but their medical devices are one of 3 divisions, and may have other headquarters.

Within J&J medical devices, there are many highly autonomous companies making devices. Where and what, I've no idea. But I think it's a fascinating area of medicine, just the same. This might help you in looking around, I don't know.
