Help me identify 70s animated movie?

Trying to remember an animated film from late 70s, early 80s. I saw it in 5th grade classroom 1983. All I can remember is a musical song sequence where kids are in a forest (or bog) and are being chased/haunted by the spirits of the forest (or maybe one particular spirit?) the song is catchy and I think the chorus has the word "Who?" sung as if it was the sound a ghost makes. I think the movie might have had a slight pro-environment message as well.

Super duper long shot: The Amlash Enchanted Forest. Or maybe The Last Unicorn? I wish you could remember another detail or two...

Response by poster: It's definitely not The Last Unicorn. Amlash Enchanted Forest sounds tantalizing, but seems like it was produced in Hebrew and subtitled -- if that is the case then it wasn't that.

More details that I can remember: I think the characters (kids?) are in search of some kind of forest monster (ala bigfoot) in the forest. And I remember vividly that the cartoon images of ghosts/spirits seem to actually come out of the trees. The musical sequence takes place at night and is haunting/eerie/melodic.

I think maybe the creature they are looking for has a strange name... something that sounds like the "Whaganatta" of the forest... I am grasping at memory straws though so take that with a grain of salt.

I know I don't really have enough detail to guarantee an answer, just thought I would take a long shot. :)
