Does anyone here have experience with a bit of shopping cart software called MivaMerchant? I'm trying to integrate it into an existing website, but with mixed results, and I've been unable to find a quality, free support forum on the web (although I have read that they exist).

Try the forum at Westhost on Miva. They host my site and I know that they offer MivaMerchant as a standard part of most packages. They also have a short manual about Miva.

I got a decent amount of experience with Miva Merchant (3+yrs), setting it up and doing a little bit of maintenance for my sorta websaavy parents' business. I'm not aware of any fantastic web forums, but you may want to check the Miva User Group's listserv archive for specific issues. The paid support Miva offers has been pretty good in my experience, albeit pricey.
If you're still in either the pre-purchase or just-purchased stage, the Miva sales people have usually been very helpful and transfered me over to tech support (gratis) when I had some basic questions. I don't know if they're still as "cool" as they used to be, its been a while since I've worked with them.
p.s., if you have any questions, email me (in profile) and I'd be happy to help if I can.
