I am looking for blogs written by child-free, car-free individuals (or couples) about the same topic or related topics. Bonus points if the writers are also pet-free.

Do you want blogs about living without a car? (and without the posts about the hassle of dragging kids everywhere without a car?)

Not sure how the pet thing would fit in.

I'm sure there are many bloggers who don't have children, cars or pets (I would think half of the people under the age of 35 would fall into this category) but as far as it being a lifestyle choice or philosophy (which is what I guess you are alluding to?) I've never heard of those three being grouped together.

I'm not sure I understand your question. Do you want blogs by writers who are car/child/pet-free by choice & who write about that choice, or do you want blogs that avoid mention of cars, kids and pets because the writer(s) don't happen to have those things in thier lives?

I'm baffled by this question, but curious. I've been married for over a decade, we don't have kids (by choice), a car (also by choice, but we live in NYC, where it's not so odd to make this choice) or pets (we love animals, but they're not allowed in our building).

In case it's relevant, I also have some umbrellas, an ipod, and I like chocolate.

I have a blog, linked to in my profile.

There are a lot of blogs by the "childfree by choice" people. Here, here, here, here, there are a zillion more on teh google.

There's some car-free blogs -- here, here, here.

Hmmm, pet free. More challenging. One of the childfree bloggers also blogs about being pet free. See here.

Are you already blogging on these issues?

Ran Prieur comes to mind. Also No Impact Man, except that he has kids.

I have neither a car nor kids. But I do have a cat, so I guess I don't get bonus points.

I have no kids, no pets, and a car. Do you want to read 2/3rds of my blog? It's basically reposts of interesting things I find on metafilter.

Response by poster: Thanks for the links/recommendations. I was looking for blogs written by people who had consciously chosen to not have kids, own pets or cars but not necessarily write about this choice on a regular basis. But since not having this things would change one's lifestyle in a variety of ways for a variety of reasons I was hoping to find such blogs for inspiration purposes.

Ran Prieur was exactly the type of writer I was looking for.

I have made the decision not to own cars, have kids or pets for environmental reasons and were looking to read about others who had made such choices and wrote about it and other related topics. For example not owning a car could mean that the writer writes about bicycling alot or about peak oil.
