What are some genuinely good-looking corporate web sites that look decent across all browsers? I want to send sample websites to a web design firm, but my bookmarks consist of only blogs.
Define "all browsers". Also, what are you trying to demonstrate by way of these examples?

Response by poster: All browsers - basically I'd like the site to be viewable on IE, Gecko-derived browsers, KHTML-derived browsers and Opera. The site doesn't have to be syntactically perfect by any means. I'm just having a rough time finding nice looking corporate websites that can provide information to viewers without any gimmicks.
Essentially the web design firm that we may go with provided us with their samples, and most consisted of lengthy Flash animations for introductions, followed by IE-specific Javascript navigation systems. I objected due to the fact that I run Linux and don't have a browser capable of viewing most of their samples. So they asked me for examples of well designed and coded corporate homepages. Think almost brochure-ware sites.
Google is well designed, but it's their target are not customers looking to buy a product. Wired is good, but again, it's a news site - not the kind of page I want to see.
And don't worry, I would never allow the site to get ripped off by the design firm :-)

Not being funny, but it sounds like you should be looking for recommendations for a better Web Dev company.

Is Happy Cog "corporate" enough? Or just commercial?
And yeah, what twine42 said.

Ew, Siebel. I'm using their Siebel Call Center right now.
Also, their site has Flash on it.
I've always liked UPS' site.

Response by poster: Thanks for the suggestions guys, very nice.
twine42: Agreed, agreed. But it's not my decision to make - I can just provide feedback and hope that they listen to me.
