Reps in MS Word

I prepare a monthly English-Spanish glossary list for a magazine and I have to avoid repeating the same glossary items from month to month. I'd like some software which identifies repetitions across multiple MS Word documents. Does such software exist?

Keep all the lists in one document, each list on a separate page. Make each glossary item an index entry and generate an index after you add a new glossary list. You'll be able to scan the index for items listed for multiple pages. (And you should check the index in the first place before you add a word you think you might have used before.)

Many thanks - the power of logical thought! And free. So there's really no software to do this, then?

If there is, it probably isn't worth your money.
