Best tapas in Manhattan?

Where can I find the best tapas, in Manhattan, on a Monday?

I'm looking for the best tapas bar / restaurant in Manhattan. Specifically for this Monday night.

And what should I order there? My preference is to non-seafood, less-meaty dishes.

I can't speak to Monday nights, but I recently went to a dinner at La Nacional, and was super impressed. The place looks like a little hole in the wall on 14th, and the main room isn't anything special (primarily occupied by Spanish nationals watching soccer), but they have a small dining room that's quite nice. I think I was able to sample almost everything on the tapas menu, and of the non-seafood things, I loved the artichokes, meatballs, croqueta, and patatas bravo. There are also several other veggie based selections. The menu is on the website. Wow, according to Frommers it's the oldest Spanish restaurant in the city. Here's a review from Gothamist.

19 Street, between 5th and 6th Ave, I dont know the name but it's very good. Bonus, it is next door to the Flatiron Lounge where you can retire to for a "flight" of three of the drinks du jour. Each day the Flatiron has a selection of three paired specialty drinks, I wish I was there now.

19th between 5th and 6th is La Boqueria.

Tia Pol is very very good - I think better then La Boqueria and I think the best in town. 10th between between 22nd and 23rd

I think Chowhound is a better place for this question, but I'll put in a plug for Alta, which I went to recently. There are seafood and meaty plates, but also a number of non-.

(Except that Alta is not 100% authentic Spanish tapas. Some are, most aren't. Don't know if you are strict on that.)
