Help me replace a 8525 Fone!

Help me replace a AT&T/Cingular 8525!

The 8525 (HTC Hermes) belongs to my father. He was a diehard user of the old Sharp Wizards (the ones with large keybrd) until his old one recently died. We got him a 8525 believing it could combine his fone and his contacts on one device.

Sadly, he loathes the 8525. He is too hamfingered and short-tempered to learn to use it or gets flustered whenever it does something out of norm.

Can anyone suggest a replacement? It doesn't have to be a fone, but it would be nice if it were. Mainly he needs something to keep all his phone numbers for people in and have a keyboard so he can add as he goes. He hates the little thumb keyboards. It doesn't have to do wifi, but it's nice if it does.

Anyway ideas are welcome!

You could always get him an old wizard on eBay for like $20. I mean, why get the latest and greatest everything.
