Fast Trixx is slowing down

Affordable motorcycle service in Tallahassee; Just a dream?

I have taken my bike to Fast Trixx several times and the service just seems to get crappier and crappier. It took them 2.5 weeks to fix a broken fork seal this time, so I'm done with them. Yes, I know, I should do most of the repairs myself. After all, that's half the fun of riding a motorcycle, isn't it?

Well, yes and no; I'm a busy guy with only limited tools and no garage in which to tinker. I'd end up changing my oil on my front patio and, call me old-fashioned, but that makes me feel wierd. So, any advice would be welcome. Thanks in advance.

Do you mind driving 40 miles? I'm from Thomasville, and I know a shop there that has a high reputation.

Hoyt's Cycle, on Smith Avenue.

Good luck - about the best shop is The Cycle Shop out on W. Pensacola past TCC, and they're still nothing to write home about.

I know of a place in Valdosta (and have trusted one of their mechs with my motorcycling life) if you're interested in going that far...

Response by poster: I'd go as far as Thomasville for a repair-while-you-wait kind of thing. Thanks for the link.

And Valdosta's a bit too far. Thanks, though.

Hey, I have always taken my bike to Fast Trixx. They have always been cool with my bike and pretty fast. They sometimes have to order parts for me but that is anywhere you go it seems. I do not know what happened with you but that is not like them. Plus the mechanics rock and you get to talk to the guy who worked on your bike. The other shops they won't even let you talk to the mechanics. I like being able to talk to the guy that worked on my bike. I won't go anywhere else.
