What is a good team outing in Ottawa, Ontario?

What are some good "team outings" for a smallish team (10) (where team means corporate) of 20 and 30-somethings in Ottawa, Ontario? It has to be reasonably cross cultural and accessible; this is the usual mix of people that happens in high-tech.

White water rafting! Like at Owl Rafting or the place down the road from it. Not physically hard at all, as long as you can float in a river wearing a life jacket. The paddling is pretty easy. And it's lots of fun.

Take them to the Ex. And get some delicious tiny tim donuts and lemonade!

I think I'm going to have to go to the Ex this year.

Something a team here is doing that I found cool is getting together for a "team building" day that will actually involve building playsets to give to the Salvation Army.

So, I'd encourage you to think about an activity that is fun, can involve everyone, and also has the bonus of giving something to your local community.

Or, paintball.

There's a Lazer Quest place in Nepean (or there was many years ago) which is fun without the pain potential that goes with paintball. (I got hit in the forehead once. The welt lasted days. It was awesome. Not everyone might agree.)

I've never seen a Laser Quest in Nepean, but there is one on St Laurent.

I do like the tackiness of the Ex, but the Pakenham Fall Fair is not without its charms. Pies! Minnow racing!

If they're mostly urbanites, it should amuse.

Is there whirlyball nearby? Nothing better than beer, bumpercars and plastic lacrosse sticks.

Sailing can be fun, and is more accessible for many than paintball or Lazer Quest. One of the sailing schools in Ottawa offers team building sessions, including a chance to sail under the guidance of an experienced skipper, and a fun race at the end of the day.
