Chicago's always been my kind of town. Help me get a job there.

Any Mefites know of headhunting/recruiting firms in the Chicago area that specialize in government relations/public affairs?

I'd also welcome any other anecdotal details you all might offer about the Chicago job market. I'd be hunting from afar and quite frankly, I can't see any other way to get around this other than a headhunter. I have tried the "use a friend's address, get a local phone number" approach in the past with no luck.
Thanks.

if you have the seniority, consider contacting Korn/Ferry International. I hear their name all the time when it comes to hig-level pr hirings.
