Real Life Troll Samples

What are some real life troll statements that would provoke a real life response like we find in forums. For example: "You know why there are less Swans in the London Lakes? Immigrants from Pakistan are catching and eating them."
I'm looking for statements that can be said in company over a dinner table, and are designed to cause argument. A proper troll has to find exactly the right balance. It has to be plausible, yet provoking. It dare not be obvious, as people will just laugh it off. It is not also just an unpopular side to a controversial issue. It also has to be based in fact.
So a statement like:
"I think global warming is good for the environment"
is NOT what I'm looking for, as it is obviously said to provoke, and will not create a response. However, a statement like:
"Illegal Mexican immigrant has caused the number of leprosy cases in the U.S to rise by 300% over the past 3 years"
is fine. As is
"If everyone stopped eating meat, it would totally solve our global warming problems".
Any other such samples?

This post was deleted for the following reason: the internet is full of how to be a troll examples and while the map is not the territory this is a question that is better suited for someplace else or your own blog.
