getting photo properties with mouse

I no longer get "properties" when I use my mouse over a picture
I use Mac and used to get Properties if I clicked when I put mouse over a picture (would get Location etc). I can get properties of site but no longer of individual pictures at that site. I use a trackball, sometimes, Mighty Mouse, and another mouse but no longer do I get the Properties I once was able to. How can I get this useful information?

Response by poster: Matteo: I think that is what I am talking about...I used it to get location (where the photo was from that is produced or reproduced on the page) and had it but now I can no longer use this "function" via my mouse (I have tried with 3 mouses)..I do not have any tech background and am old guy and thus a slow learner in such things! ah, woe is me

If you're talking about what would be considered "Right Click" features on a PC, it's ctrl+click. (They also come up if you mouse over something and then leave it for a short time).
Otherwise, I really don't know what you're talking about. What program are you doing this in?

Response by poster: Dear E.D.B.Huneydew: I think what you say for the PC is what I am looking for but which no longer works on my Mac

Is this a problem you're having when you're using a browser to look at the World Wide Web (if so, what browser?) or a problem you're having when you're looking at pictures that are, say, sitting on your desktop?
