Hello Honda Super Cub c50 Owners, or people that can read KANJI! What is this telling me
what is this trying to tell me? the 3 lamp is a mystery....
I just inherited one of these things and it didn't come with instructions. It's a fun ride though!

I'd have to second SCDB; fire up that Cub and see if the lamp goes on at any particular time ;)

Best answer: It's read "san (3) soku (speed), and as SCDB says, it means you're in high gear. I think some later models have 4 speeds, but most are 3-speed rotaries.

Best answer: On the right hand side it says "Speed warning light" (速度警告灯).

Response by poster: Thanks all! It never seemed to go on, no matter what gear I was in, but maybe the bulb is just dead. Also the Speed Warning Light sounds pretty funny. I'll have to see if I ever get a speed warning.
