Is there a screen video capture shareware for Mac OS 9?

I am looking for software (that preferably doesn't cost anything) to record some screen movies on Mac OS 9 platform. I know Mac OS 9 was used just after the second ice age, however, we still use it in our lab and I am trying to find a way to record a visual stimulus (something cute that is moving on the screen) as a quicktime or avi (or whatever easy to convert) file to use it in a presentation on Mac OS X. I am looking for something similar to Snapz Pro for Mac OS 9.
I am not really optimistic about this, but I thought I give it a try.
Otherwise, my plan-B will be to take a video camera and make a flickering film of poor quality and with some background coughing.
Thanks in advance!

Key with Plan B is to use an LCD screen - flicker problem gone.
Alternatively, some (more expensive) video cameras have a scan setting to permit sync with tv monitors/computer monitors.
Last, could you set up an OSX box (where the screen recorders exist) and run OS9 inside of it?
