Help find the title of this 80's song that's stuck in my head...

There is a fragment of this song is stuck in my head. Please help me identify it so I can get rid of it. Here are the clues :

- definitely eighties/new wavish/pop with electronic instruments. (think " a flock of seagull", "thompson twin" etc.)

- synthesizer keyboard riff is this song's signature, directly leading to...

- lyrics (maybe the chorus ?) are using the words "dance around the world" or something sounding like that.

It's not the B52's "dance this mess around".

I have a hunch it's by a one-song-and-they're-gone band. But I could be wrong.

thanks in advance !

Response by poster: Close but no cigar. Definitely that genre, that kind of band and that era but not that song. Sorry.

It's not Daft Punk's "Around the World," is it? It's not from the 80s, but it sounds like it could be, in that it consists of synthesizer beats and the words "around the world" repeated a lot.

Response by poster: Not Daft Punk's either. It's definitely from the eighties.

I'm going to go with "Dance Around the World" by Delta Queens? Off the Initial D album? Don't know a thing about 'em, but you can find the track here.

Could it be Rick Springfield's "Dance This World Away"? (Video directed by David Fincher, just by the way.)

Response by poster: sorry to disappoint but it's not that one. I think a need a backwards time-travelling machine to find that one...

Actually, it may just have been used in the Initial D anime. Not sure. Can't find much about 'em.
