Automatic Streaming

Is there a way to simplify watching/listening internet tv/radio by click on ONE icon and have the computer automatically login (website) & click the "watch/listen" button?

There is two website that my parents enjoy watching and listening. The problem is they are old and have hard time using mouse and even using web browser.
I want to make their lives easy by creating a shortcut icon .. so that they can just click and watch or listen.

The site requires one to put id and password... than the website refreshes and one has to click on "Listen" or "watch".. these are two different websites (one for tv and another for radio)

I tried to cut and paste streaming address... but it says i still need to log in...

A long time ago.. I saw a program that will record my mouse and keystokes so that one can click on a icon and it will automatically do all these...

or is there a better way?

If you use windows vista, there's a sidebar gadget that lets you listen to the BBC radio channels.

Another macro app that looks like it can handle website login (costs money, but the free trial looks to be just feature limited, not time-limited) (I googled macro windows website login click. not glamorous, but it worked.)

Response by poster: just tryed another macro app... very good .. and i may use it my self.. but.. if the web browser opens too small or mis-align.. it becomes useless... .. but still very good recommendation...

i am still trying to work the imacro stuff.. but. couldn't get it to work yet.

try AI Roboform, it's technically a password management system but it can do autofilling/submitting some forms. maybe you can get it to do another click as well?

it's free up to a certain number of saved logins then paid after that, so no downside to trying it at least.

Have you tried emailing the site itself and asking them what they would suggest for this situation?

You may want to check Autohotkey out. I have found it useful to automatically start a browser window, enter log in information, wait for an appropriate response etc.

You would have to write (or record) a script, which can be stored on the desktop as an icon.
