Where can I find raw peanuts in Philadelphia?

I'm trying to find raw peanuts in the shell for boiling and eating purposes but coming up a bit empty handed. Does anyone know where I might be able to buy these tasty little nuggets?

Try Chinatown. I have always found them in asian groceries.

Reading Terminal?

Italian Market?

Also, the new H Mart in Upper Dumpy near 69th Street is a top notch Korean supermarket.

Whole Foods always sells them. Looks like they have two stores in the city.

Your Philly-specific best-bet is Nuts To You, which has 4 locations in the city.

Essene Market on 4th St sells them - raw peanuts in the shell. I bought some last weekend. They're called Wild Amazonian Jungle Peanuts, and an 8 ounce bag is $14.89, which is a lotta nuts however you shell it.

Asia Market in Chinatown, along with pretty much any other Chinatown market.

Oh my gosh. I had the SAME problem in Missouri. I eventually found them in a farmers market but they aren't of the same quality in Georgia. Hope you have better luck!
