Xoloitzquintli information needed.

I need information about Xoloitzquintli (Mexican Hairless) dogs.

I live in northern NJ. I'd like to find a Xolo (Mexican Hairless) dog breeder, but I haven't had any luck using search engines. Does anyone know of a breeder within a day's drive? Does anyone have a Xolo or experience with one? I've done a bunch of research about them, but I'd like to talk to someone who has first hand experience. Thanks!

I can't help you directly, so mods might delete this.

Two step process for you:

(1) Contact the Xolo club to see when and if there are going to be Xolos at a dog show near you. It will almost certainly be an ARBA (American Rare Breed Assn) or UKC (United Kennel Club) show as Xolos can't currently compete in AKC conformation. If there's no other useful contact information, send email to their president or any board member.

(2) Go to the show. Talk to people.

Here is the national breed club (the Xolo is in the AKC FSS program, which is the pathway to full breed recognition). There is a link to breeders there.
