Where is the info on Tokyo Design Week 2007?

How can I find information (dates, location) about Design Week in Tokyo so that I can make my travel plans?

This was me asking about going to Japan, and this is me deciding to go for Design Week 2007. And I actually have friends who want to go as well. Woo! But we need the specific dates and location info before booking flights, and I can't seem to find this anywhere.

I have the PingMag article on Design Week 2006, and I found these dates, Oct. 31 - Nov. 4, for one of the participating groups, 100% Design Tokyo. That's all I've been able to find, though. It doesn't help that I can't read Japanese - maybe this info is written up on the Japanese version of one of these sites.

Does anyone know where I can find these dates? Is there a secret home page for the overall event that I don't know about? I've been Googling on "Tokyo Design Week" and "Designer's Week Tokyo" - is this even the right name?

Huge thanks in advance!

According to this page in Japanese, Designers Week 2007 is from October 31 to November 5 this year. The English version hasn't been updated yet.

Oops, I take that back. The Japanese site still has the 2006 dates listed. But according to this, Oct 31 - Nov 4 sounds right.

I think you pretty much found it at your link these dates, Oct. 31 - Nov. 4. You have the specific dates and the location at that link. Vendor list and other info won't be available until August, so bookmark and check back then. There is this listed there too:

Sluglicker, 100% Design Tokyo is just part of the event. Here in London, 100% Design runs 20-23 September as part of London Design Festival 2007 which runs 15-25 September.
I think you'll need to contact the Design Association directly but another person to ask would be Marcus at Dezeen. He's covered the Design Weeks taking place since he started the online magazine (Miami and Indaba).

Response by poster: Thanks for your advice, everyone!

I think I'll try contacting the Design Association. I'm reluctant to wait until August to start booking flight and lodging.
