Loco-Itunes! Why shut down on me after 3 minutes of glory?
Why does my itunes shut down on me methodically after 3 minutes of use. I could be playing a movie, searching for songs, whatever but something makes it just turn off and I get an annoying "let us know what happened" message. "lord...if youre listening....heeeeeeeep!"
Thanks.

What version of iTunes? Windows or Mac? Is an iPod or anything plugged in at the time? Have you tried disconnecting this computer from the Internet?
Some details, please.

This is kind of a longshot, but I had the exact problem after I installed iConcertCal--are you running that, or another plugin that could be causing problems?

I recently spent hours trying to help my friend fix this problem with his new iMac. The only thing that fixed it was to back up all his files, and reinstall the OS, *not* upgrading to the latest version of iTunes.
It seems to be a common issue if you google the call stack from the "additional info" in the crash report, but there doesn't seem to be any official report from Apple.
I was surprised by how smoothly and easily it is to reinstall OS X, so if you don't have a ton of extra stuff installed, I'd try it out.
