I'm looking for Captain America...but a hypnotist

Does anyone know a good and affordable hypnotist in Los Angeles? I'm not looking for deep therapy or getting to the heart of long suppressed feelings. I just want to jump out of a plane and not wet my pants when I do it. Or, for that matter, get on the skydiving plane in the first place. Who knows an LA area mindbender for this sort of thing?

Personally? I know hypnosis works. I've taken a few courses, done it on other people and even gotten a few CDs for some basic stuff like "10 minute re-energizer" or "stop procrastinating."

Unfortunately they don't sell any pre-recorded ones that make you into Batman for death defying situations.

I've tried kite skiing and couldn't even get on the board. I tried surfing but quit when I felt nervous about drowning. As for parachuting, I can't even thing about it without shuddering like an elderly woman.

I'm 35. This has gotta stop.

I wanna do these things and I'm looking for right hypnotist to go along with the plan. I'd rather not spend more than 50 bucks a session. And I'd rather not get anyone trying to get into any deeper issues. I like myself. I'm happy with myself. I'm good.

I just wanna jump out of a plane.

So if you know of anyone who'll go along with a plan like that with decent skills and affordable rates, I'm more than interested. Thanks

Yeah, I'd ditch the hypnotist.

When I went skydiving, what alleviated my nervousness was just watching all the people landing in the drop zone. It was like watching tissue paper fall to the ground. Very relaxing.

I wasn't afraid til much later, when I was on the plane, and my jumpmaster was strapped to my back. When the door of the plan opened and I saw everyone else jumping out, thats when I got really nervous again. And by really nervous, I kinda freaked out. I kept yelling to my jumpmaster that I'd changed my mind, but he couldn't hear me because it was so loud in the plane (or so he said). Being the stronger guy, he was able to push me out with him.

Within a couple moments, though, all was calm, my body deciding to enjoy the free fall. It was a blast.

Sorry man (or woman), looks like your question got the insta-dismissal poo-poo treatment. I don't have any recommendations, but you might try calling some of the places listed at the link below.

By the way, spoke to him and he says distance is not an issue.
