Mac right-click problems with firefox 2.0
I used to be able to open links in a new tab by holding down the mouse button on my mac mini. Since i upgraded this feature seems to have disappeared. is there a way to make it come back?

You can command-click a link to open it in a new tab immediately, or you can control-click to bring up the contextual menu (ie right click) where you can select from a number of options.
The change was made to make Firefox behave more mac-like, as most mac applications do not support click-and-hold for the contextual menu, they use control-click. If you just want to open links in new tabs, command-click is the fastest way to go. You can select in Preferences->Tabs whether you'd like to switch to the new tab immediately or have it open up in the background. Whichever you choose, command-shift-click will do the opposite.
Firefox Help has a listing of keyboard and mouse shortcuts as well.

Best answer: type 'about:config' into the location bar, look for the setting 'ui.click_hold_context_menus', and turn it to true by double-clicking on it.

Go to System Prefs > Keyboard & Mouse > Trackpad.
Select the "Place two fingers on trackpad and click button for secondary click" option.

Oops, sorry, I saw that as a MacBook, not Mac Mini :( Perhaps there's a similar option on the Mini's system prefs?
