Anybody know of a good restaurant for lunch in London, Ontario?

I've been living here for quite some time, but all the places I know are very student oriented. Although this suits me just fine, my mom is coming to visit tomorrow, and I'd like to take her somewhere where she will feel more comfortable. Any price range is fine, so please don't hold back.

Suggestions?

Looks like a good list here.

If all else fails, go to the nicest hotel in town.

Garlic's (casual but very good), Blue Ginger (upscale casual) or walk along the street where the Farmers Market is located --My wife and I regularly visit London for eating, walking and staying at the Park Station Inn Good Luck

I second Garlic's. The Tasting Room. Copperfield's (all three on Richmond at Dufferin). Thaiphoon. Zen Garden. (both on Dundas) Ichiban (Wellington and Commissioners).

The Farmer's Market mentioned above is at Covent Garden Market at King and Talbot and there are a bunch of nice places to be impressed with. Have fun!

Billy's on Dundas for the best deli sandwiches and homemade pies in town. On Richmond, The Toddle Inn is good for quality home style cooking. Also on Richmond, The Curry Garden has an excellent ten dollar all you can eat lunch buffet if you like Indian food. There's a good little Japanese restaurant in the market but I can't remember the name of it even though I walk past there almost every day. For Chinese, you can't beat the Kambie on Horton. The Auberge du Petit Prince has recently been resurrected on King St if you would like to go upscale and French. Haven't been to that one yet.
