Connecting to a Wireless Network

The "okay" button is missing on my friend's laptop when trying to log into my wireless connection. Why?

This happens to him at another friend's house, too. He can locate my wireless network on his computer, and type in the password, but the "okay" button to enter it is not clickable. This is on a Mac, if that matters.

My wireless connection currently "feeds" two computers. I logged out of it to see if it was "full", but it didn't help. Any ideas?

Best answer: My guess is you've got an encryption scheme selected that requires a password of a certain length, and you haven't entered enough characters for it to be valid.

This probably means you haven't selected the right encryption scheme in the first place in the Connect To dialog.
