Why is ImageReady doing this?

ImageReady is screwing up my slices, layers. What is going on here?
I have everything exactly where I want it (slices, layers) in Photoshop CS. I open it in ImageReady to edit (rollovers, export to html) and the elements are all screwed up. I altered the original page I used to make design changes, almost looks like the old slices/positions. I saved the changed doc under new name, in different locations, same issue. See these pics for visual of before/after.

Response by poster: Sorry, SirStan, I'll try to clarify. Certain elements, e.g the mastercard visa logo , some buttons get moved out of their place when I import the .psd into ImageReady. As to the other 2 questions...I'm indeed a newbie. Basically my design steps are :
1) Create what I want page to look like (minus html text) in Photoshop
2) Make slices
3) Open in ImageReady, set rollovers, export html
4) Open in Dreamweaver and finish.
What would you suggest instead of tables? Or is there a clear tutorial site you can recommend for a more efficient workflow?

Another issue might be, why so many slices.
Yet another issue might be, why are you relying on tables for layout in 2006?
