Flash and .exe file

Flash quandary: A previously defunct Flash project I left unfinished is coming back to life. This is good. What's bad is that I only have one .EXE file projector file, not the .FLA, not even a .SWF. Is there any way I can bring the .exe file into Flash so I can finish the project?

In the meantime, I found an .swf file, which should be easier to crakc than an exe. I think I can even insert it in a new flash file.
