What are the film clips that Turner Classic Movies shows before the beginning of every movie?

There is a film clip that TCM runs before the beginning of every movie. In the clip the camera very slowly pans up a building, and you can hear a guitar very slowly being plucked. Does anyone know what movie this clip comes from?

Before TCM started using this clip (if I remember correctly), they ran a black and white clip which first showed what looked like an apartment building, and then a train going by. Does anyone know this film clip as well?

Does the building that gets panned look like The Empire State Bldg? If so it might be a movie called An Affair to Remember. I'll turn it on and watch when a new movie comes on in about an hour.

Best answer: Ack, sorry the thread link doesn't work. Just search the TCM message boards for TCM Opening if you want to read the thread. It's the first hit.

On a related not, their "Open All Night" intro is mostly made up of clips from Stanley Kubrick's Killer's Kiss: the guy in the ticket booth, the people dancing, the bus, the woman undressing in front of the mirror, the coffee being served, and I think the train going by.
