THERE'S NO NEED TO SHOUT I'M JUST DRYING SOME CLOTHES

Recommend me the quietest condenser tumble dryer in existence.

I've done the online research and I know I'm going to have to spend a bit, but the noise level (or lack thereof) is very very important. I have to do quite a bit of work no more than a few metres away from where new purchase will sit so a peaceful soothing whisper is about as much as I'd like. Is this possible? You decide...

We got a Bosch that was supposed to be one of the quietest available - it's reasonably quiet; more so than our previous cheapie thing, anyway... but it's still enough to give you a headache if you're standing near it for a prolonged period.
We didn't go for the top-of-the-range model, though, so perhaps they're better...

I have the LG 3431 combo washer/dryer, with the ventless condensation dryer. When it's drying, I can't hear it unless I'm standing right in front of it, and I live in a studio. (The spin cycle, however, is deafening. But effective!)

Here's the LG dryer page. Not sure how many, if any, are condensor or regular.

Blaargh! Bad edit. Not sure how many LG are condensor.

In my experience the noise levels have less to do with the brand of machine and more to do with how carefully the machine is levelled and the state of the floor.
