Broken Favicon?

Why can't I make the gmail and google calendar favicons show in Opera 9.01?

Most of the other pages with favicons work ok, but those two do not. I prefer to just have the favicon and no text on the personal bar. Also, isn't there a way to "lock" or make favicons read only??

If you find the answer, do let me know. I find Opera 9.01's handling of favicons almost completely random. When I look at my surrent favourits bar, it has five copies of the bloglines favicon, used on flickr and the bbc amongst other places; the Daily Telegraph favicon attached to BT, and four copies of the skin's generaic favicon. Oh yes. The other six have the right icons.

I'm not sure if Firefox extensions still work on Opera (Or maybe I'm misremembering that completely) but this blogZero entry had everything I needed to get my Favicons in order.
