Best inexpensive, small, ultrasonic cleaner? I want to clean pretty small stuff lke bicycle chains, casettes, and derailers, nothing huge.

This doesn't exactly answer your needs, I think, but I've seen dozens of small household ultrasonic cleaners here in Russia. Usually they come in the form of a little plastic ball, from which portrudes a small electric cord. You put it in a basin with your clothes, and slowly it cleans them and makes them extremely soft. You can buy them in various sizes and strengths. These things usually cost between 10 and 20 dollars.

They're different than what I'd previously known an ultrasonic cleaner to be: a metal tank with a rack that you submerge an item in, with solvent or water. If you want that kind you might want to check out GSAauctions.gov- - the laboratory ones that pop up on there and eBay from time to time are stellar. My father had one for a time and it cleaned things I could never imagine could be cleaned.

Try Mc Master Carr as they have some reasonable ones.I would also try tattoo shop suppliers and a site called "The Deco Stop" as techical scuba divers use them for 02 cleaning and sell them off frequently.
