What should I know about SEPTA?

Philadelphia Airport to Princeton NJ: What are my options?
I need to get myself from the Philadelphia Airport to Princeton. Google searches for airport shuttles turn up all sorts of hits for things that sound like private limos, which I could do if that's my only option, but I'd prefer something less spendy. Is SEPTA to NJ Transit a viable option? It looks fairly straightforward on the map, but not being local I don't know if I am overlooking anything.
I'm landing mid-afternoon, with just a small backpack for luggage, if that makes any difference.

Best answer: It's the R7 to Trenton. I just took it this weekend.
I would recommend the SEPTA to NJ transit route over any direct train or cab, because it's actually cheaper. For instance, I take the R7 to Trenton and NJ Transit to Penn Station when I'm going to NYC, and it's much cheaper than the direct Amtrak train.

Best answer: Make sure you get off @ Princeton Junction and get onto the 'Dinky' to get into Princeton proper.

Best answer: Yeah you have to change from the R7 to NJ Transit at Trenton. Make sure that you buy a ticket to Princeton and not Princeton Junction, and do what exit said. It's actually quite a hassle going from Philly Airport to Princeton...

Best answer: Make sure to bring cash (you'll need $7 for SEPTA each way), because you cannot use anything else to buy SEPTA tickets at the airport.

Best answer: In summary:
R1 from PHL to 30th Street Station
R7 from 30th Street Station to Trenton (easy transfer at 30th St)
NJ Transit from Trenton to Princeton Junction (the R7 parks directly behind the NJT train, so just walk forward)
Dinky from Princeton Junction to Princeton
Bring cash. To go back, reverse.

Response by poster: Thanks everybody! It worked out to be very easy, so I'm marking everyone's answer as "best" because they all had at least one helpful nugget.

You'll take the R1 to 30th Street Amtrak station, then from there either take the R? to Trenton and then from there NJ Transit to Princeton or maybe there's soemthing that goes right from 30th Street to Princeton. I'm not exactly sure.
But SEPTA's public transit is pretty easy to navigate. I was able to do it fresh from the midwest.
